UTCA’s New Client, Wendy’s

Unemployment Tax Control Associates (UTCA), announced today that DavCo Restaurants, Inc., one of Wendy’s largest franchisees, has contracted with them to manage the company’s unemployment tax costs. UTCA, a national service corporation and leader in unemployment tax management based in Springfield, MA will provide services for DavCo in the Maryland, D.C. and Northern Virginia area, where they operate 156 restaurants.

Under terms of the agreement, UTCA will provide DavCo with effective solutions for unemployment cost management, utilizing a unique proactive and preemptive approach to managing unemployment costs.

“We are extremely excited to be working with Wendy’s and we look forward to building a long lasting relationship with DavCo Restaurants,” said Suzanne Murphy, President of UTCA.

DavCo conducted an extensive nationwide search for a new vendor to assist them with unemployment tax management. Company officials say two of the most important factors in deciding to hire UTCA were technology and customer service.

They have a lengthy track record in unemployment insurance controls and we are very confident UTCA’s system will enable us to keep up to date on specific information.
