Illinois Benefit Integrity Bill HB3682 – This bill has onerous employer violations and is currently pending with the State. It contains employer penalties for failing to respond to claims “as required” which includes a double financial penalty:
1.) Benefits paid will remain on the employer’s account.
2.) A civil penalty amounting to the benefits paid, will be assessed in addition to the charges remaining on the employer’s account.
