Fall River, Massachusetts – Small business owners gathered at the Fall River Chamber of Commerce and Industry to talk about the challenges facing their industry. They listed Unemployment Insurance as a challenge to being able to find the employees they need to do business, claiming it has become too easy for people to stay on Unemployment. According to Rick Kidder, President of the New Bedford Chamber, “We have a high unemployment rate and a high percentage of the workers find it is a better deal to not go to work.
